Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AttuneArc.

If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the service only if you complete the current minor acknowledgment flow. AttuneArc may update its age or eligibility requirements later; if so, we will update these Terms and the product experience to match.

You may use AttuneArc only if doing so is permitted by applicable law.

2. What AttuneArc Provides

AttuneArc is a relationship practice app designed to support self-reflection, emotional regulation, relationship clarity, and ongoing chapter-based practice. Features may include recommendations, guided practices, Emotion Check, Journal, Arc, insights, reminders, and related tools.

AttuneArc is not therapy, medical care, mental health treatment, crisis response, or emergency services. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional, and it should not be relied on for medical, mental health, legal, or crisis decisions.

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis, contact emergency services or a local crisis hotline right away.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Activity that occurs under your account
• Promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe your account is being used in violation of these Terms or in a way that risks harm to other users, the service, or AttuneArc.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use AttuneArc for unlawful, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes
• Attempt to access another person's account or data without authorization
• Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the service
• Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or extract the service except as allowed by law
• Use the service to generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or infringing content
• Upload malicious code or attempt to bypass security or rate limits
• Use AttuneArc in a way that suggests we are providing therapy, diagnosis, legal advice, or emergency support

5. User Content

You may submit reflections, journal entries, check-ins, notes, responses, and other content through AttuneArc ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant AttuneArc a limited right to host, process, transmit, store, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the rights needed to submit it.

6. AI Features and Recommendations

AttuneArc may use AI and automated systems to generate recommendations, prompts, summaries, transcriptions, insights, and other outputs.

You understand and agree that:

• AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate
• Outputs are assistive only
• AI outputs are not medical, mental health, legal, or professional advice
• You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Some AttuneArc features may require a paid subscription.

If you purchase a subscription:

• Billing is handled by Stripe or another designated payment processor
• You authorize charges according to the pricing and billing terms presented at checkout
• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the checkout or billing portal terms
• We may change pricing or plan structures in the future with appropriate notice where required

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once charged.

8. Beta Features and Availability

AttuneArc may offer beta, preview, or experimental features. These may change, break, be withdrawn, or be unavailable at any time.

We do not guarantee that AttuneArc, or any specific feature, will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

9. Intellectual Property

AttuneArc and its associated software, content, design, branding, and materials are owned by Arc Labs LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the service.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to AttuneArc if:

• You violate these Terms
• We believe your use creates legal, safety, or operational risk
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the service or a feature

You may stop using AttuneArc at any time. You may also request account deletion by contacting us.

11. Disclaimers

AttuneArc is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• AttuneArc will meet your expectations
• recommendations or AI outputs will be correct or effective
• the service will always be available, secure, or error-free
• defects will always be corrected

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arc Labs LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of AttuneArc.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to AttuneArc will not exceed the greater of:

• the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or
• one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100)

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify AttuneArc or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, by email, or by updating the effective date.

Your continued use of AttuneArc after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent non-waivable law in your jurisdiction applies.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of AttuneArc will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you and Arc Labs LLC consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
